This app is the first in a series of BJJ apps. The video glossary app is a VISUAL REFERENCE of all the BJJ MOVES to be covered in the INSTRUCTIONAL apps. There is no "talking through each move" - only a visual reference. This app is designed for 1) a new person to bjj to see what the moves look like 2) a visual reference for new instructors to review prior to teaching 3) a coach/trainer at a tournament trying to explain a move they want their player to either DO or REVERSE.

Finally, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) video glossary of terms. In this application, you have a visual glossary of over 60 positions, submissions, and grips. Multiple angles and slow motion for ease of learning.

Become familiar with the names of almost every jiu jitsu technique you have heard of. Don’t know what a De La Riva is? Don’t worry. You will! Along with dozens and dozens of other techniques!

Championship Training is all about LEARNING FROM THE BEST! This application is brought to you by Jeff Battenberg and Alvis Solis.

Alvis Solis is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in BJJ under Carlos Machado. His expertise is in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, as well as Filipino martial arts. Alvis has been teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 1997.

Jeff Battenberg is a Master Instructor in Taekwondo whose mission is to bring experts in many martial fields to the forefront in order to help both martial art practitioners, viewers and martial instructors become educated in various martial arts. He is a Blue Belt in BJJ (as of Nov. 2010) and a 6th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo.

A special "Thank You" to Garrick Chan and Eric Chan for your time, continual support and videography skills.

I really like it!!

This app is exactly what it says it is...an "ENCYCLOPEDIA of (Jiu Jitsu) Terms" This app is a great reference tool to be used by anyone in or interested in the sport of jiu jitsu. On top of that I love the fact that it has so much content in it but it doesn't take up a gig and a half of space on my phone.

A Visual Demonstration of Over 60 Techniques

This app is a great reference tool for everyone. From a beginner just learning jiu-jitsu, to an instructor who is using it to show a move during a private lesson. There is no audio, or step-by-step instructional to get in the way of just watching the techniques demonstrated.

As the first in a series of apps, this visual reference will be a great tool for students and instructors alike. Imagine as a student, learning a technique from your instructor, then having a visual reference to go back and practice with! How about as an instructor, trainer or coach - - you show a technique to a student and know they have a solid visual reference to be able to practice correctly!

A good app

It is a really good reference tool. If you train in bjj its a nice tool to help you remember moves you've already learned and give you ideas of moves you might want learn or try. I don't think it was meant to be an instructional app, if it were it would be x10s bigger in file size and besides should you really be trying to learn something like bjj from an app anyway?
